Fondazione Cinema per Roma and NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, present – as part of UNESCO Rome City of Film – the first edition of the Z-Pitch contest, an initiative aimed at current students and those who graduated less than a year ago at Film Schools and Media Design Schools in Italy.
The contest aims at giving voice to Generation Z and brings to the attention of film and tv professionals the ideas of young authors and filmmakers – students or new graduates – possessing outstanding talent and showing the ability to identify relevant issues and tell contemporary and original stories through audiovisuals.
The call for participation, public and free, is open to audiovisual storytelling projects for future feature films or series – original and not yet produced works – whose rights have not been transferred to third parties. Film School and Media Design School students or new graduates – who obtained a degree or a diploma one year or less than one year ago – can participate in the contest.
Registration is free. It is possible to register online from Wednesday 1 December 2021 to Monday 28 February 2022, by midnight. For the pre-selection procedure, only works submitted by the deadline specified above through online registration – at this link – shall be accepted.
